I have been on many cruises, but this embarkation was the most organized that I have ever encountered. We checked in and were onboard within a matter of a few minutes.

The ship was old but well maintained. It is scheduled to be refurbished in the fall and several issues must be addressed. The elevator system is an adventure. Each elevator bank consisted of 8 elevators, for which you must press 4 buttons. Many times, elevators came and went without anyone noticing that they had stopped. The cabins were the smallest that we have ever encountered on an outside cabin.

The food was excellent; the best we have had on a cruise ship. The dining room offers "anytime dining" as an alternative to early or late seatings. The waiters, assistant waiters and head waiter were marvelous. They did everything in their power to satisfy our every wish. Read more
