Just returned from a seven night cruise on the radiance...this was only our second cruise and our first seven night....ship is beautiful, staff was helpful and extremely pleasant...rooms and public areas always appeared clean and neat...our two children were with us(boy 17, girl 14) or at least boarded with us!!! However we rarely saw them as the ship was full of teenagers with lots of activities planned...

We had a terrific time overall...only a couple of complaints--they had a curfew for our children (unless they were involved in an "organized activity") of i think it was 12 midnight..this seemed quite early especially for our son...unless these kids are really causing a problem I don't see why this curfew exists...my son happens to look young and he was singled out on two occasions and escorted out of the public areas where there were many under 18 kids...

The other complaint was that RC changed two of our ports close to travel leaving us with places we had not chosen to visit...one was belize which was lovely, but we tendered quite far out limiting our ability to do and excursion and see the town as well..the other port was Roatan, which personally I could have done without....we paid a lot of money to go to a beach (after being told that we shouldn't explore on our own) and although the beach was nice, it didn't offer much...I was disappointed in not being able to visit the ports I had chosen, since this was why I picked western caribbean cruise...also, i had been told that booking excursions onboard was no problem, however, there was an extremely limited amount for Roatan and belize, leaving us closed out of several options...this did not ruin our cruise, but did make our first day aggravating....all in all we had a fantastic time aboard radiance, but feel that RC should not be able to change TWO ports on one cruise since this did not leave us with many options....to all who are sailing soon--enjoy the weather and relax!
