We arrived in Long Beach on Saturday 2/23/08 and stayed at the Westin. Great hotel and excellent location. We arrived at the pier around 1100am and waiting about 30 minutes before we started to board the Pride!

This was mine and my partner's first cruise. We were kind of skeptical at first. We had heard and read lots of negative reviews and comments about Carnival Cruise Line. The majority of negative information we read was just not true or at least we never encountered any of the problems people go on about.

There were 10 of us traveling. We had 3 cabins 2 in cat 11 and 1 in cat 12. The 8 other people who were with us are family members and have sailed several times on Royal Caribbean and they were also impressed by the ship, food, service, activities and staff.
