Well we flew into miami a day before as we live in eastern canada and it was alot of snow and very cold ,we flew to Fort Lauderdale and stayed at the sheraton mini mart in miami .it was a excellent choice that carnival set us up as the rooms i found very very satisfying. Our cruise started on sunday the 17th of feb.embarkation was a snap was on the valor faster than i anticipated, went very well the line ups were fast ,was on the boat about 1:35pm and went directly to our room our luggage was there and room was good to go .we then decided to go and look around the ship, ive been on a carnival ship before but not since 91 and was on the celebration which was much smaller .the decor was nice also, the food was great as was the staff all very friendly and always had a smile for you. Our fist port of call was Grand Cayman, was very warm and alot of culture,i found it very commercial as like other big cities but very nice ,we did the pirate boat excursion, this was ok as later found out was mostly for kids but had fun all the same we then hired a taxi a headed to Seven mile beach,I MUST say that this was probably the smartest thing ive done through the whole cruise as it was such a wonderful beach and not as crowded as i have read on other sites. Our second stop then went to Isla Roatan this was not as populated as the rest of our stops but very nice,i found that the area was starting to build up as i have seen pictures a few years back that reminded of a jungle, but not so ,as a matter of fact Royal Caribbean and Carnival are setting up buildings now to help bring in more travelers to this city,we never did to much here other than shop Our next stop was Belize ,well what can i say was very nice we wanted to do a tour but was rushed by the women to go shopping lol Our last stop was Cozumel ,wow what a place i must say was the highlight our trip,we did the catamaran and snorkel tour was a blast i recommend this to anyone who like to party as this is as about as close to the party boat that carnival dropped just recently, the beer and margaritas were great there and back all you can drink lol Well sunday came and debarkation was just as fast leaving as it was getting on,no problems at all. This trip was my second time with carnival and my wife's first, and will be traveling again with them in the near future
