This was our 3d cruise (Carnival Triumph, RCCL Grandeur). We are a family of four, two boys 12 and 10. We were also traveling with another family with two boys the same ages. This cruise surpassed our expectations. First was the embarkation. Smooth as silk. We were on the ship by noon.

The food was outstanding! Every night in the dining room was a great experience thanks to the wait staff and the food. Alina and Mr. S were beyond fantastic. She took special care of the kids and couldn't have been more professional. The maitre' de Ken was awesome with his Sinatra singing every night.

The ship was as clean as could be and the staff was extremely friendly. No one was better than John Heald the cruise director. He was fabulous. Anyone who can consistently get two 10 year olds, two 12 year olds and four 40 somethings laughing hysterically is incredible. He also alerted us to a lunar eclipse which was breathtaking. Something the kids will never forget. We would actually pick our next cruise based on where he is. That good.
