Our 9th cruise, first on Carnival. Boarding was slow and took an hour and a half. We know from experience it is probably because we showed up right at Noon, and so does everyone else. Wait till around 3 or so if you want to board any ship quickly.

Ship: Very nice and well maintained. Clean as could be. The ship is big, but felt cramped for some reason and felt like a smaller ship when on board except the top two decks, dining room and casino. The room was spacious and nice, especially the deck and shower. I think the best room we have had really. Having read reviews prior to taking this cruise we brought the bungee cord to keep the door open to the deck and some lightweight hangers. Both are good advice...thanks.

Food: Run of the mill, nothing special. The filet mignon was tougher than leather and one prime rib was tough as well. Lobster was a big crawdad in size. Order two. Pizza while available day and night is weak. Little topping or sauce. Ice cream availability best we have seen. Room service in morning bothered us because you can't get eggs, just rolls, coffee and fruit / yogurt.
