Getting on the ship was easy. We got onboard at about 3PM, and immediately went for lunch on the Lido Deck. The lunch buffet was very appealing and there was lots of interesting foods to choose from. From there we went to our oceanview cabin. Like most cabins, it was small but bearable, and the bathroom was clean and appeared new. We loved the Caper Newsletter, and really appreciated the tear off schedule that we could take with us.
The boat itself was kind of confusing and disorienting - it was easy to get lost, so my spouse wouldn't let me out of his sight - The decor is a Mardi Gras theme, and it's all dark granite, purple and green.
The only place on the ship that has nice pads for the lounge chairs is "serenity", and if that's where you want to sit, you'd better be up at the crack of dawn to claim your chairs. Lots of chair hogs all over the boat, but we were able to get chairs up at the top deck most days, overlooking all the pool activities. The last day at sea was so windy, we couldn't safely or comfortable sit on deck. No worries though, we made our donation to the casino.
