Sail Date: Jan 2008

Traveled with a group for a wedding. This was our first cruise, and didn't know what to expect.

Because of the group, we were allowed early embarkation which was quick and easy. We got our way around the ship before it picked up and beat the crowds.

The Fantasy, if I'm not mistaken, is one of the oldest ships in the Carnival fleet, and it showed in the design and appearance. I felt like I was stepping back into the 1970's; from the common areas, to the dining rooms, and the cabins. The cabins were pleasantly surprising. Still had the 70's feel, but the wife and I had a Queen, oceanview suite on the Riviera Deck. It wasn't terribly large, but certainly had enough space for the two of us. Three would have been a stretch.
