We left on February 4th out of San Pedro. It took only a 1/2 hour to enter the ship. We were on board at 12:30 PM. The ship was spotless. Everywhere you went there were employees spraying your hands and making sure that all was clean. We had read some discouraging reviews of this ship. It was unfortunate because everything was great. The cabin was spotless. The entire staff were friendly and could not do more for you. I have been on different ships in the past and on this one before. It more than met our expectations. The restaurants were excellent with excellent staff. Do try the Italian and the Tex Mex (no cover charge). They are excellent. The Versailles and Aqua are professionally staffed and food was excellent also. The Blue Lagoon open 24-7 was always filled with people due to fish and chips etc. We tried Cagney's, Le Bistro and the Asian specialty restaurant with cover charge of $20.00 and $10.00 respectively. The asian is worth the cover charge and Cagney's was OK. Note after 9:00 PM the cover charge is reduced to half.

I had thought that I would not like the entertainment but was surprised to enjoy the comedian Sasso and the Musical review. Living in NYC gives us a chance to see top entertainment and this came close to Broadway as one can get.

We took several tours by NCL and found them to be excellent. Now people tell you not to book via the cruise line and go and get a private cab. Don't be fooled. You may pay a little more but you get more. We did the Acapulco Highlights, shopping and Cliff Divers. There is another tour a little less money without the shopping. Next time we will take that one because this one had too much directed jewelry shopping. The cliff divers were great to watch. We went on the Las Gatas Beach Break in Zihuatenejo and spent at least three hours at the Beach. The beach was a little rocky but the food (fish or chicken) was very good. You got a lot
