Sail Date: Jan 2008

My wife and I cruised the Majesty of the Seas Jan. 18-21, 2008. We have been on numerous cruised and enjoyed this one for a quick get away. It was an excellent cruise for a quick get-away. We arrived at Miami about 11:30 PM. The lines for checking in were very short. After checking in, we waited in a separate room for them to start boarding the ship. They began boarding about 12:00 PM. We booked an outside room with a "larger" window. This was much nicer than the porthole on the lower levels of the ship. The rooms are small, but you're only in there for short times and the cruise is only three or four days, so you're not bringing much luggage. The formal dining restaurants were very good. While waiting for dinner the second night, we posed for the "lifestyle" portraits (white background) and were very pleased with the photos. This one is now our formal portrait for the house. The first port of call for us was Coco-Cay. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach there. I did the dive there. You do have a long swim from shore to get to the dive site. Be sure you don't carry too much weight as it can tire you out swimming there. Nassau is enjoyable. We had rain all day, so we were back on the ship by about 2:30 PM. Dis-embarkment in Miami went smoothly and we were back on the road by 9:30 AM.
