We recently completed a 7 day voyage on the Westerdam, the second on this ship, and our 9th cruise. It was a wonderful cruise experience.

Our last two cruises were on Princess Ships and we will NOT go back. The Westerdam's food, both dining and Lido, were superb. Entertainment was fine, but the ports were the best.

We like to relax, hang at the pool. or when in port, go to a beach. We never had difficulty getting a lounge chair near the pool. The aft deck pool is strictly adults only, but even as late as 9 a.m., we always got lounge chairs in the sun. On the Princess ships people go down early, throw a towel, book or other stuff on a chair to reserve them. although the cruise line says reserving chairs is prohibited, it is NOT enforced.
