We have cruised in the past with Royal Caribbean but this was the first time in 3 years. Most of our experience was fine, but we did notice some things we want to pass on to others for consideration. Seems as prices have gone down, so have some amenities and services.

Most of our experience with staff was very positive. The exception was the wait staff at our second seating table. Both the head waiter and assistant did the minimum. Almost no interaction with the people at our table. Also, the assistant waiter constantly reached across and in front of people never seeming to realize how to do it right. Also, for the exception of the wine steward checking on us nightly, none of the wait staff ever offered anything but water during dinner. Had to ask for ice tea night after night.

If you dine at all in the buffet on deck 11, china has been replaced with plastic. Guess it saves overall on cost, but looks cheap. Most of the coffee mugs have been washed so much the design is almost gone.
