Background - This was my 8th cruise, my hubbies first. I booked a Suite for the first time, SS1058 on the starboard side of the ship.

Embarkation - Since we live in Florida, we drove 2-1/2 hours and we were at the port. Parked in terminal "C" and had paperwork with me for handicap parking. No one was around to take my paperwork, so I assumed it would be taken when I left. Walked across the roadway and was in the terminal, online, checked in within 15 minutes, on board by 12:30. Process was quite smooth. Had a bulky carryon and as we walked up to the ship entrance we were offered fruit juice or lemonade. Cup in hand we entered the ship and now offered a glass of champagne. Hubby laughed as we hardly had enough hands to juggle things. Staff was totally professional from the beginning. We made our way to the pool area, found a table and had a great lunch from the grill. By 1pm we were allowed in our room.

Stateroom - Plenty of room. Found the suite to be wider than the balcony rooms and plenty of storage space. The balcony was more than sufficient. This time we had a butler and while I thought I wouldn't use him, I actually found him (Elvis, really that was his name)to be invaluable.
