This was a 20th anniversary cruise for us; it was only our second cruise ever (first was on Disney Wonder in 2006). I booked the cruise on RCI's website and booked air separately with US Air. Everything went smoothly with the online check-in process. One minor quibble: there was a place on the website to indicate that you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary and I filled that data in. However, nothing ever happened with that; no acknowledgement of any kind was made. No big deal, but odd.

The cruise was 4-night to Cozumel departing from Port Everglades. We flew to FLL uneventfully and hung out a short while at the airport until about 11:00 am, as I wasn't positive how early you could arrive at the port. Grabbed a taxi ($17) for the short ride to the port and the doors were open. Embarkation was quick and painless. We weren't really directed anywhere, but eventually wandered up to the Windjammer and had lunch.

The ship is very beautiful and well-maintained. Everything was clean and being cleaned constantly, which was nice. The crew were very friendly and helpful. The two sea days were filled with fun activities. I loved the pool band. The evening shows were kitschy, especially compared with Disney, but everyone seemed to have a great time.
