This was our 6th cruise. First time on NCL. My expectations must have been too high, but I do know some of the other cruise lines.

We drove down from No. CA, stayed at the Best Western Sunrise Inn. This was adequate for the evening. The shuttle took up to the port at about 10:30. Embarkation went smoothly. We were on the ship by 12:00. The buffet was the worse of any other cruise line we have been on.

At approximately 2:00 p.m. we were allowed in our rooms. They were clean and adequate. Our room stewart was the best person on the ship. She was the only staff member that always smiled with probably the hardest job. Read more
