Being a sailor I was apprehensive about going on a cruise thinking I would get bored Man was I wrong. We live in Florida so we drove to Tampa the morning of the 23rd and got to the dock around 12 noon. Organized panic is how I would describe it but I'm from a small town so I guess that is pretty normal. Everything seemed to move really quickly. All the port staff was friendly and courteous. After about 45 minutes we were on the ship and eating. BE PREPARED TO EAT ON THE CRUISE. The boat wow factor was amazing from the second you step on the ship you never stop saying WOW that is amazing. Now I'm a first time pleasure cruiser so this might be the norm and I really have no basis for comparison but I was really impressed with the staff and cleanliness of the boat. We made our way to the top of the boat to watch Tampa fade away and take the stress of the drive here with it. You can almost feel the weight of stress lifting off you as you move towards the Gulf. We watched a bit and made our way to the Lido deck to soak it in. After a bit of family time talking about how amazing and huge everything is we made out way to our rooms. The ship is a little hard to figure out but trust me by day 3 you know it like the back of your hand. Seaday1 around 8am we made our way to breakfast and found the Eggs Benedict nice and hot. The wait staff was amazing and always available if you need anything. After breakfast we made our way to the pool deck and grabbed some chairs. Around 10am the waiters start the never ending laps around the boat announcing the drink of the day and throwing the subliminal messages out about beer. I'm weak I guess because I drank ALOT. The band was playing and the pool games were fun but I was ready to hit the casino so I left the wife and kids and headed to the tables. 100 bucks later I was licking my wounds at the buffet. I was trying to eat 100 bucks worth of food to break even. It didn't work though I must say all the dealers were very nice and quick to help you if you didn't understand what was going on. We had the late seating at dinner so around 6pm we went to a show. It was pretty good I must say. I'm not much for guys in tights singing and dancing but it was fun. They do a really good job. Dinner time at 8:15 was really cool we got to meet Gusti and Devon our wait staff and these guys were pros. By the end of the cruise they were like family. They really try and get to know you and you want and needs.Gusti is a part time magician I guess because every night he had some crazy little trick to show us and I must say he is pretty good. After dinner we walked around the boat soaking it in and enjoying every single aspect of the boat. It really is an awesome sight to see. Day 2 BELIZE...MERRY CHRISTMAS. We booked a snorkeling excursion that picks you up from the cruise ship and takes you to this little island that sits on the reef. This part I don't think words can describe. The water was amazing the fish were incredible and the locals and tour guides were great. Everyone has a laid back attitude and if you spend much time there it rubs off on you. we snorkeled around a bit and then sat on the island under a palm tree and drank the local beer until it was time to leave that little slice of paradise. We bought a couple shirts from the local there selling his wears. TIP never pay what there asking. I got 2 shirts for 12 bucks. Day 3 Cozumel We booked a deep sea fishing trip here so we had to be off the boat early... well 9am is early when you spend the night drinking and dancing. The guide matched us all up and the boats took us towards the mainland Mexico. The water was an amazing color and we trolled along the Yucatan Peninsula. We only caught a few fish nothing big but we had a great time just being there and drinking the free beer and talking about the day. We got back to the dock around 3pm and met the girls and Senor Frogs and had a great time dancing and singing and drinking fruity drinks. Dinner at 8 came really fast and I was Wiped out tired from the day. As usual dinner was amazing and this was my first encounter with Chocolate Melting Cake... If you don't hear anything I'm saying try and remember this. CHOCOLATE MELTING CAKE. This is the deal. I had it every night from this point forward. After dinner we had grand plans to take in a show and then go dance up top and make the midnight buffet. We were in bed asleep by 9:30 Day 4 Sea day after breakfast and some time lying by the pool I decided to give me luck another try in the casino and guess what... I won 200 bucks so I'm up 100 at this point. It took a while to get there I cashed out and found the family at the buffet eating. I had some pizza and it was not bad. After an amazing dinner of Prime rib we took in a show that was really good then went and saw the comedian and he was really funny. Day 5 Grand Cayman this was the best day of the cruise because of the excursions we booked city tour, Turtle farm, Hell, and Stingray Island. I would tell you all about every aspect of this but it would take forever and I can sum it up in a few words. BEST TIME OF MY LIFE. When I look back on my life I will remember this day and all the smiles and laughs that my family shared. When we got back to the boat we were wiped out so we napped until dinner and then had another fine meal and excellent staff. We shopped and explored the boat after dinner and bought things from the shops and checked out the library and the church. The boat is truly amazing and very flashy Day 6 Sea day we spent most of this day around the pool listening to the reggae band and eating hot dogs and drinking beer talking about how much fun this has been.

Down sides. The only thing negative I could say about this trip was they really need to put clocks in the rooms.

The days in port go by WAY to fast
