Background: My husband and I are twenty-somethings, and this was our 2nd cruise, our first being on Carnival Imagination earlier this year. This time we shared a room with my husband's little brother, who we are legally responsible for. He is 14. We stayed on a level 2 inside stateroom aft.

Both embarkation and disembarkation were a nightmare... at least as far as vacations go! :) both took about 4+ hours, though they said that it was because Grandeur had just recently returned to Tampa and they were having computer problems. We got on the ship right before the lifeboat drill, and many many people didn't do the drill since they weren't on board. We were the last group off the ship, due to color coded tags, and we were told that Tampa doesn't allow self-debarkation.

There is no comparing this ship to Carnival. It was amazingly beautiful. Loved it, loved it, loved it! Took lots of pics just of the ship.
