This was our fourth cruise, third on Carnival. It was my husband and myself (ages 53 and 52). Our sons (ages 18 and 21) were with us, but in the cabin next door.
We live in northeast Florida, so we drove to the port in Tampa. We arrived at the terminal about 11:00AM and found a lot of congestion. The ship was 2 hours late due to fog in the area, so the passengers were still getting off of the ship. The signs directing traffic for drop-off and parking was a bit confusing as we drove around the block, looking for the entrance into the parking garage for Terminal 2.
We were allowed to check in, which was quick. The only problem was one of the workers at the terminal. As we got off of the escalator, I stopped to read a sign and she rudely told me to not stop. My husband told me that I needed to get my cell phone out of my purse for the scanner. When I took it out, the same lady told me to follow what the signs were telling us. I have no idea what the signs said since she would not let me stop to read them.
