This was our second trip on the Vision of the Seas. The first was on it's maiden voyage in the Mediterranean.

This cruise was to celebrate Christmas and celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. We used the online check in and printed our cruise documents from the website. This worked well. We also booked airport transfers with Royal for the trip from LAX to the port in San Pedro. We elected to fly out the day of the cruise on the first flight out to LA from ATL. I booked my own flights using FF miles.

We arrived into LA around 11:00 am. Went to baggage claim and checked in with the Royal Caribbean staff in the baggage claim area. Once we got our bags we waited until the bus arrived and then went out side. The bus staff loaded our bags and we were off to the port which is about 35 minutes from LAX.
