12/22-12/29 Western Caribbean Itin. (Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios)
Flew to Miami the night before and stayed at the MIA Doubletree. Airport was a madhouse as expected, and hotel was packed. So much so, that we pitched the prepaid Carnival airport transfers on Saturday and took a cab to the port from the hotel. Painless!
Arrived at the port around 11:30 AM, much earlier than Carnival claims you can check-in. Porter came to the cab immediately - don't be overly generous with this tip-they just throw you bags onto a huge cart.
