Mariner of the Seas - November 25 - December 2/07

There were four of us travelling together for this cruise. We flew into Orlando a couple of days early intending to do some shopping. However the weather was perfect so we decided to do Disneyworld for a day. What a day that was. Very long - we walked from 9:00 am to after midnight. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves but it was exhausting.

On Sunday we arrived at Port Canaveral about 1 PM. Embarking was probably the worst we have ever encountered. The line-up snaked all the way over to the bus dispersing area. As we had priority boarding and I wasn't sure where that would actually start I walked to the head of the line to ask the person there. She was quite nasty in tone and words as were most of the lower floor staff. She very sharply told me that priority boarding wouldn't start until we were upstairs. When we reached the screener they were extremely disorganized. They were breaking up families and then trying to shoo everyone upstairs even if they didn't have all their belongings yet. The ladies were causing a fiasco with passengers not being able to collect all their children and family together. A little patience on their part would have gone a long way.
