Embarkation at San Juan was easy - probably too easy, as we would learn later in the cruise. We boarded early, about 1 PM, with no lines or problems. Our cabin was ready, and the buffet in the Windjammer was open. No sanitizing wipes were distributed at any time.

After lunch, we left the boat and toured Old San Juan. Very worthwhile, since you do not have to be back on board until 5 PM.

An announcement was made that the boat was full, 3,700 passengers, with about 1,800 locals from P.R.
