We were on the Conquest December 9-16. This was our 3rd time on this ship out of galveston.

We got off to a bad start. The ship was late coming in due to heavy fog in Galveston. When we arrived, they told us to go eat lunch and we would receive a $15.00 credit per person to cover the lunch. We were told to come back at 2:00. We were one of the first to arrive. We did stand in a long line and did not get on the ship until 5:15. This was much earlier than most! I think they were still boarding passengers at 9:00 that night.

We did not leave Galveston Sunday. We spent the night on the ship. We were told that we would leave as soon as the fog lifted. We woke up Monday morning and we were still in Galveston with fog worse than the day before! I thought we might be on a cruise to no where! However, around noon Monday we were told we would be leaving!
