I cruised the Liberty of the Seas the first week of December on a Western Caribbean cruise. Royal Caribbean does a lot of things very well on this newest ship but " drops the ball " a little bit at the end of the cruise.

First, this was my 5th cruise. This was my first cruise with Royal Caribbean. The embarkation process was pretty much the usual experience that I have become used to. If you arrive at peak time ( between 12 - 2 ) expect to have to " work your way through " numerous lines in order to board the ship. This process took about an hour or so from start to finish. Royal Caribbean does an adequate job of trying to process so many guests in a fairly small area.

Second, the ship itself is very nice and fairly easy to get used to. There are numerous directory guides placed throughout the ship so that you can see where you currently are in relation to the entire ship. This is very helpful.
