This was our 10 day NCL cruise we took on September 13th to New England and Canada. We feel like the amount of money we paid for this cruise ($4400.00 for a mini suite) was totally excessive for what we received. What we got was more in line with a ocean view or balcony cabin. Below are the areas of dissatisfaction with this cruise and NCL: Not only did we not receive concierge service (per NCL), we never saw or met our cabin steward (to this day we don't know who it was)

The coffee maker worked sporadically. This was reported to housekeeping on the second day of the cruise with no results. We "fought" with the coffee maker for the rest of the cruise - most times it took at least ten minutes to get it to work. The coffee pot was not cleaned regularly, nor were new coffee packets left on a daily basis. Balcony not cleaned on a daily basis.  Room steward did not empty ashtrays on the balcony where we smoked.  No Robes or slippers offered. (cabins on both sides of us had them) No Daily fresh fruit or flowers (cabins on both sides of us had them)  No garbage can in the cabin

To date we have never received our latitude pins Ordered extra towels for entire trip, only got them the first day (via note to steward which was the way we had to communicate with our cabin steward the entire cruise) Ordered extra blankets. When room was cleaned the extra blankets were rolled up in a ball and tossed on sofa or end of bed. (never folded) When room was made up, it looked like someone laid on bed after making it. TV was only a 13 inches stuffed in a corner of the cabinet. Telephone was hung on wall under TV cabinet making it impossible to see the numbers or direct dial buttons All though not listed or a big deal, our steward never made up animals with the towels but cabins on both sides of us had them. It's just a nice touch. We sent out laundry and dry cleaning and got back ours plus another passenger's laundry (took 2 days for him to pick it up after immediately notifying housekeeping) Read more
