We arrived in Fort Lauderdale the day of the cruise. What a day of running that was! We arrived at debarkation at @ 1:30PM. The ship looked impressive. Carnivals new terminal was very nice, too bad the line to check in was over an hour long. We stepped on board ship at approximately 2:45. The theme of lines would continue throughout the trip.

Fun Day at Sea - This was a great time, very relaxing. Most of the crew was friendly and helpful. The lines for the buffet and specialty items were always present and you could guarantee a wait of at least 5-10 minutes. Staff at the bars were friendly. The deli was always slow, with two people just milling around in back while a third slowly built your sandwich. If New York Deli was the theme, they got the worst of the NY attitude down pat!

The food at the buffet was as expected, typical buffet fare, nothing stellar. The fish & chips station was excellent. Deli was average. The Dining Room (aft) Washington absolutely made up for the shortcomings of Rosie's buffet. Our staff were attentive to all details (Redentor & Marcos were fantastic) the food was delicious and the service was equal to that of the finest restaurants in the NY & NJ area. Kudo's to the staff and Maitre 'd on that.
