Departed Ft. LAUDERDALE on Friday March 5th, 2004 after a terrific night at the Renaissance Hotel on 17th St. Got to the pier around 11:30PM and on the ship by 12:00PM. The fastest embarkation process I've ever experienced. I kept waiting for the long line up around the next corner but it just didn't happen. These guys have this process perfected.
Once on board were escorted to a beautifully laid out cabin 3005. The window was very large at 4 feet in diameter affording an excellent view. A balcony would have been nice but with a view like this, trust me, a balcony is not necessary. The rooms aren't huge, but are well laid out and very clean. The shower was bigger on this ship than others I've been on.
The common areas were very clean and elegant. The ship was being cleaned from stem to stern on a continuous basis. The entertainment was excellent. Excellent singers and the Celebrity orchestra is unparalleled in talent.
