These are my impressions of the 10/14/07 sailing.

We arrived in San Juan, PR a day early so we would have less worry about delays or other travel problems coming from the West Coast. Even leaving LA at 7AM only got us to San Juan at 7PM.

We left our hotel by 11 and got a taxi to the cruise terminal. What a dose of insanity! A man handed us a piece of paper saying we could board early but not get into our cabin until 2:30PM. The line to get our Sail and Sign cards was relatively short, but the wait by the duty free shop was over an hour. Insufficient seating and only tiny paper cups of booze made the wait seem much longer. Read more
