This was a 4 day cruise with two sea days and one stop in Cozumel. We were the 3rd group on after the refurb. There were 8 in our group, and we are all empty nested from middle 40's to late 50's, we had no children in our group.

Embarkment- We got to port about 10:15 because we drove in the last 90 mileson the 18th. We had to wait a short while as they were still debarking, but we were first in line to board . Very quick. We were on board by 11:30. Rooms were not ready until 1:30 and now they barricade them off so you can't drop your stuff. I advise as little carry-on as possible. Lunch was ready on the Lido and the food was very good. They had the buffet, a sandwich station, salad bar, hamburgers and hotdogs going, pizza and a desert bar. Alcohol was-a flowing.

The ship looks great! Very clean and lots of stuff was new. Our cabin steward told us that all cabins were totally stripped including the walls and ceiling. All new carpet and bedding. The carpet is new through out the ship. Some of the lounges have new fabric as well as the dinning rooms and Lido. The Serenity area is fabulous (more about this later). The new slides were up and running and kids young and old were having a blast. The new pool area was complete and looked very tropical with palm trees and thatched roof umbrella's. All in all we were very pleased. The only bad smell we encountered was just when you excited the ship in Mexico and it was pretty rank. The guy in front of us got a sniff and yelled "welcome to Mexico" . At least it was humorous. The putt-put course looked new.
