Sail Date: Oct 2007

I recently returned from a weeklong cruise upon Liberty of the Seas. This was my third cruise, and second with Royal Caribbean. Previous sailings included Enchantment of the Seas, and Golden Princess. My partner and I travelled together, flying directly to Miami on the sailing date, and stayed in a balcony room, 8642.

We arrived in Miami, and fortunately our flight was on time! We quickly found the Royal Caribbean representatives. There was a bit of disarray at the airport. There was another group of people on our flight who would also be on the same cruise, and they did not have cruise baggage tags. We were caught up in this madness, even though we were fully prepared. Eventually we made it on a bus and to the pier.

Boarding the ship was quick and painless! We were checked in and on the ship within 20 minutes! I couldn't believe it! The ship itself is massive and awesome! We walked onboard and immediately wanted to see everything - but first chores. After dropping the carry-ons, we rushed upstairs to book reservations at Chops Grille and Portofino's. The time slots were already filling up fast. Let me recommend that you book reservations to these restaurants early!!!! Then, on to the spa for a fantastic, quick tour, and booked appointments there as well.
