We are pretty new to cruising but have fallen in love with it. Our first cruise was with Carnival on the Sensation in November 2006. After that we were hooked. When we ran across this deal of $399 we couldn't pass it up. It was perfect timing. My husband was in Miami on business and I tagged along. We talked our friends into coming with us. This would be their first cruise.

We were making the reservations online at carnival and we couldn't get it to work. So I called carnival. We were unaware that because we were passed guest that we could get free upgrades. Since our friends were not the reservation guy put me and my friend in one room and my husband and her husband in another. That we each room had a past guest and qualified for the upgrade. We were upgraded to the 6th floor--paying the 2nd floor price. We later found out this was great. No so many stair to climb. (We never take the elevators--to long to wait and a good work out to be slightly hungry for the next meal.)

We cruised on the September 22-29 Eastern Caribbean aboard the Triumph!
