let me start off by saying this is my third carnival cruise. i love them! need to start doing two a year. anyway, our 8am flight out of newark was bumped up to 7am. this was a good thing. our return flight out of miami was bumped up to 11am. not so good. we were afraid we'd never make it. so, we took a 4pm flight and booked an excursion to the miami seaquarium. check in was smooth and easy. we took a taxi instead of the bus transfer to the port of miami. we thought it'd be easier and we wound up saving a few bucks. our room wasn't available until 1:30, so we headed off to the lido deck to eat a scrumptious lunch. changed into our suits, had a rum drink and voila, the pampering began! fun fun fun

HALF MOON CAY~ beautiful island and a TERRIFIC lunch. we got there about an hour and a half late due to rough seas and overly windy conditions during the night. captain francesco la fauci did an awesome job! we lounged on inner tubes and waded in the crystal blue waters. DAY AT SEA~ we ate an early breakfast and headed to the pool. we're sun worshippers. met some really nice people and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. got some color!

ST.THOMAS~ we took a boat ride over to ST. John to do some snorkeling at Trunk Bay. although the beach was breathtaking, the fish were scarce. i saw many more fishies in cozumel and grand cayman. we did see a stingray. nice but a little scary. got back to St. Thomas and did some shopping in Charlotte Amalie. Some of the islanders were very pushy!
