This was our honeymoon cruise and both of us were pleased with the cruise. It was my first ever cruise and my wifes third cruise, all with Carnival.

Embarkation: We left from Jersey and arrived in NY within 30 minutes with no problems. The line was a bit long, but once it began moving it did not take long to get onto the cruise. Id say we made it into our rooms within an hour of arriving at the port.

Stateroom- We had a balcony stateroom on the 7th floor. It seemed smaller than what the pictures indicated and my wife also thought it was a bit smaller than other rooms she has been in, but once we put our luggage under the bed our concerns on the rooms size were gone. The closet space was excellent and there were plenty of drawers for storage. The mirrors were large and easy for my wife to use for makeup or for us to make sure our clothes looked ok. The bathroom countertop was good size, but the bathroom itself was a little snug and fitting your way into the room if someone had a closet open was impossible. The balcony was great and I would never cruise again without one. The biggest beef I had with the room was the lack of a clock as you never knew what time it was unless you put on the TV or put in for a wakeup call. The thermostats didn't work great as it was near impossible to find a nice temperature and the fridge in the room was a bit too warm. The room steward was great and very friendly. They kept the room cleaner than any hotel I have ever stayed in. I could not believe how often she had them cleaning up the room for us. Room service was very prompt. Overall we were happy with the room.
