Cruise Review NCL Pearl 8/12/07 Alaska Glacier Bay

First off - the Cruise Critic message boards helped tremendously with this cruise and the advice received was truly priceless.

Pre-cruise - We got our docs in plenty of time as well as obtaining our e-docs on the NCL website. We registered all of our passport and identification info on the website which seemed to speed us through the embarkation process so highly recommend that. We pre-booked a few excursions - Neets Bay Bear Watch by Floatplane (Ketchikan), (later canceling as felt it was too risky - a note on this - I emailed them in July to cancel this excursion but they apparently didn't received the email and didn't cancel, I called a few days before the cruise and they showed us still booked and the ship had already taken control of those so they said speak to the ship when we get on, which we did who said just bring them the tickets and they cancelled the trip no problem) - Eagle Preserve Float trip (Skagway) and Butchart Gardens (Victoria), (later canceling as we were excursioned out and wanted to see the Titanic Exhibit instead - again just took our tickets to the excursion desk and they cancelled no problem - just make sure and give them 48 hours).
