This is our fourth cruise for me and the wife and the was the best by far we our in our forties and love to cruise. the personnel aboard were very friendly the ship very clean. we sailed from New York. Carnival needs to work on the ground transportation from the airport to the pier we had a big problem both ways. We were suppose to board a bus and they put us in van taxi that made stops through Manhattan instead of going right to the ship and on the way home we had to wait for people to come off the ship before we left for the airport. we sat at the pier for over one hour waiting and not moving. Now for the Islands we sailed into San Juan and took a city tour booked on our own not through the ship saves you some cash and it seems to be a little more personnel San Juan is great for shopping just ask my wife. Then we sailed to St.Thomas i purchased a Pair-Sailing from the Carnival only because i thought it would be safer that way. It was fun and I had a blast. We then took a Island tour on our own. Tortola is great if you like to go to beaches we just stayed around the port area. the 2 days at sea are very relaxing and go by fast we are planning our 5 for next year we are looking at another of the Spirt Class Ship from Carnival we like this style of ship best and i would like to sail on all 4 of them eventually
