Just a short preface to the review; we had a great cruise and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would sail on the Crown Princess and with Princess Cruises again. This was our 5th Princess Cruise and our 8th cruise overall and we are comfortable with and enjoy the overall Princess experience the most. Our other cruises have been with NCL, RCCL and Celebrity and whilst we had a great time on each of these cruises it's only Princess and Celebrity we ever consider sailing with again.

EMBARKATION I can only add to everyone else's comments on this, it was a breeze, the easiest and most enjoyable embarkation experience ever! We arrived at Red Hook at 1150 and were on-board within 20mins. Check-in staff were efficient and friendly and once on-board there appeared to be plenty of on-board staff available to direct you to your stateroom.

CABIN Our cabin was a BA grade (outside with Balcony) on Caribe (Deck 10). The cabin was great, and the 'oversized balcony' (slightly protruding from those above and therefore a larger balcony) was great. Rooms on-board ships are never huge but this was more than adequate and it had plenty of storage space for clothes and all of our other 'bits 'n pieces'. The bathroom was standard and was again more than adequate for our needs.
