You may think you're ready for your cruise after having seen commercials and videos and after hearing first-hand what is waiting for you but nothing could have prepared me for the amazing experience I had... After checking into my stateroom with my brother and parents by my side, we prepared to do a routine emergency evacuation...what an experience! It makes you feel really safe to know that they know what they are doing and to see first-hand how organized they are. We then did a tour around the ship alongside my cousin who works on the ship and were amazed at the size of the ship, its beauty and the details of every piece of artwork.

As far as food is concerned, you don't have to worry about ever feeling hungry...Windjammer is always stocked with food and the Cafe Promenade is open 24/7 if you want a coffee or a little snack. The dining room is beautiful to look at and great to eat in; you get the chance to meet people if you requested a table that accommodates more than the people travelling with you and you get a chance to meet some very warm and talented waiters. They make you feel good about yourself and they really care about how your day was and if you're enjoying the food and services. You also get to see where everyone is from because of their country of origin printed on their name tag...it really shows the beauty of the different cultures in the world and it was really nice to get a chance to meet people from all over the world. After filling your stomach with a delightful choice of international cuisine, you can head on to a show, the casino or maybe a lounge if you feel like relaxing.

The shows are amazing, with extremely talented singers and dancers and you're sure to have a laugh or two with the comedians! Bingo is definitely something you will not want to miss...remember, Bingo Becky's jokes are on sale for $29.95 in the gift shops and they're on sale!! You also might want to sit in on Karaoke Idol or make your way to Studio B for an ice show...whatever it is that suits you because after all, it is your vacation! Activities on board the ship are great! Whether it's rock climbing, basketball, volleyball, ping-pong or the belly-flop contest alongside the pool, you are bound to find something to fill your day. When you have finally tired yourself out and are ready to drag yourself to your room, you will be pleasantly surprised to find your bed laid down for you, a chocolate placed on your pillow and an animal made out of towels(possibly sporting a pair of your sunglasses) ready to greet you on your bed!
