Review of Pride of Aloha August 26, 2007.

Right off we liked the speed of check in. Lines looked very long. But everything was efficiently handled. No time was wasted in getting us onboard. Before we knew it we were in the buffet getting something to drink. Already full from the Denny`s breakfast we had before checking out of the hotel a couple of hours before.Having a bus charted for our group of 23 people meant no worries about getting to the ship. So did not worry the calories off getting there.

As rooms were readied there were announcements telling us who could go to their rooms. Another thing to like.While talking about announcements I must compliment NCL on the lack of them. Maybe a dozen in the whole 7 days. Most were captain`s comments. A few from the cruise director who was the most absent of any we have encountered. Firth Firthian seemed to be the little man who wasn't`t there. Good thing he had a super staff. A quite talented group of young folks. Always around with smiling faces and interested in how the cruise was going.  On to the closet. Guess I should say inside cabin 8348. About the smallest we have encountered. Should maybe have done an oceanview. But it worked fine for the two of us. I managed to lose an mp3 player in it. Later found in the laundry. Don`t ask. Since I don`t know. The good thing about this room was that it is like an island. It sits between the linen supply room and a crew stairway that I never heard anyone use while we were in the room. And it is right at the aft elevator bank.;
