We just took our first cruise ever and wowwww...what a great ship to choose. I was impressed from the moment we embarked until the time we disembarked. I know I've read of horror stories waiting to get on and off, but for us it was no problem. In Miami, things went smoothly at the port. Only waited in line for 5 minutes before going to the counter and this only took 2 minutes before we were onboard. Disembarking after the trip was a snap too. We found our luggage no problem, as everything is coded.

The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. We did not run into one unpleasant instance aboard the ship...everything was perfect. Our cabin was in the middle of the ship and on the second floor (oceanview). I was wondering what the noise would be like but we couldn't hear a thing from the engines. Was extremely quiet. The first night there was this jazz music playing in our room. I figured it was from the cabin next door. Kept waking up through the night and hearing it...got up to find where it was coming from and couldn't find it. In the morning called about it and realized I had left the intercom on (how you hear the ships captain and his messages)and this was just the music playing. What a dumbkoff...we laughed a lot over that one. Had a wonderful dinner table and enjoyed the dining room so much we ate there every night except once when we went to Portofino's'.

All the activities start bang on time and are spaced out so that you can get from one to the other with no problem. The shows on board were great, especially the ice show...it was fantastic.
