Me and my partner are aged 20 and 21 and this is the first cruise we have both ever been on, I will write about things that we wanted to know about before we left but were unable to find out about, as well as the general experience.

When we arrived at the airport on date of departure a Costa Representative met us at check-in where we were ticked off on a list so that the ship were able to be notified of who had boarded the plane. We were not told about a Representative being at the airport whom we were meant to approach it was just by luck that we saw her, so make sure if you see a costa Representative holding a costa sign you go to see them.

When we arrived in Venice we collected our luggage and headed out the terminal. As we had booked a transfer from the airport to the port another costa Representative holding a costa sign took us all to a point to wait for everyone else with a transfer, we were all then taken to a coach and then taken to the port.
