My husband (32) and I (26) just returned from our eighth cruise, this time on the Carnival Glory through the" Western Caribbean." It's a beautiful ship, but I did encounter some snags that you might want to watch out for.

Embarkation-Smooth, especially for the size of the ship. Warning: you will not be able to use your cell phones in the terminal- find other member of your party before entering. Despite dropping off our bags at noon, we did not receive them at our room until five minutes before dinner.

The Ship- The ship was generally well laid out and beautiful, but it is HUGE. I did not have any less trouble navigating it than I did the Voyager of the Seas. Unfortunately, much of the public space is devoted to lounges, so the SPA, shopping and LIDO were always crowded. One of the annoyances we encountered were the announcements- EVERY waking hour the cruise director was on the PA telling us to go by something or participate in some activity. I can read the daily activities guide, and did not appreciate my cruise constantly being interrupted for advertisements!
