This is going to be a short but sweet review as I think most things have been covered many times over... so my review will be of things that I noticed while on board... and thus may set some records straight.

Embarkation... short and fast.. was a bit warm in the area where the terminal was located. There is no a/c in the terminal just big fans. This isn't anything to do with Carnival, but rather San Diego. Weather in San Diego is perfect as usual, so arrive a day early and leave a day late .. enjoy our fine city.

The Ship... The Elation is a bit smaller then the other ships we have been on and we had heard that the decor was a bit old.. I found the decor not over the top and the ship showed no signs of wear that I could tell. What is nice about the ship is the layout. Most of the shops, pools, bars and etc are all located on basically 2 levels, which makes for easy and quick knowledge of where things are at.
