Grandeur of Seas - July 13, 2007.... Boarding in Baltimore was quick and easy. Have a book to read on disembarkation day though, it took a little over two hours to get us off upon arriving in Baltimore. Since our group was local, we were one of the last to leave. Once our color tag was called disembarking was a breeze.

The ship is in great shape, very sharp and classy.

The food in the main dining room was just so-so. It did not meet up to the high standards RCI has had in the past. Many of the dishes were poor in quality. The Maryland crab cakes were lousy and appeared to be a frozen variety. Many of the other meals had the frozen look. The buffet dining room in the Windjammer has had many improvements. It got high marks from many in our group. Take a large mug or cup for coffee and or ice tea (there glasses are small) if you want to take a beverage around the ship or to your room. If you like OLD Bay w/ your seafood take your own.
