This cruise was our family's first cruise ever. My husband and I, and our 21 year old daughter and 18 year old son. We had a fabulous time overall! We arrived at the ship at 11:45 and the sign up process was very smooth since we did most of it online. We were allowed to board the ship by about 12:30, and we were in awe of how gorgeous the Centrum lobby was. There was music playing and a jovial atmosphere everywhere. We enjoyed lunch at the Windjammer, and were amazed at the selection offered. Everywhere we went the staff went out of their way to welcome us! We were allowed to go to our cabins at 2:00 and were pleasantly surprised at the size and dEcor. If this ship was 15 years old, there certainly was no sign of it anywhere! Everything was shiny and new, and the beds in the cabins were the most comfortable ever! The bed linens and comforter were clean and cozy, as were the towels that were exchanged each day. Our stateroom attendant was always smiling and eager to please, greeting us with a "welcome home" after each excursion.

For breakfast each day we ate at the Windjammer, which we found to have every wish on any breakfast list. There were omelets made to order, scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, French toast, coffee, fresh squeezed OJ, you name it! We also had lunch there as well, since it suited those of us watching our weight ( HA!) and those of us who weren't. For lunch there was a salad bar with all the fixings and many other dishes including quiche, sliced meats, mac & cheese, an oriental station and much more. Each night for dinner we ate at the Starlight dining room. We enjoyed dressing for dinner and the royal treatment we received was exceptional from our waitress Nineen and the assistant waiter. The food was delicious and everything was elegantly presented. The entire wait staff sang a song to the dining room twice which was special. The Love and Marriage show was hysterical, not to be missed and also the Motown show was great! Don't miss the "Meet the captain" event, he was so personable and he introduced all of the people who make the ship run.

After all that the excursions are the cherry on the cake. The Bahamas port was nice, we made our way to the Atlantis resort which is beautiful. Cococay was fabulous! We reserved the floating beach mats- a dream come true for relaxation, and the kids did snorkeling and saw sting rays! Key West was an adorable stop, we paid for the trolley on our own and were able to get off and on where we wanted. We went back onto the ship for lunch and rested, then back out to do some shopping and walking. All in all, we had a fabulous time. We wanted to pinch ourselves, to see if we were dreaming. The staff is outstanding and friendly and you do feel like royalty when you are onboard. We would gladly cruise this ship again and are already planning our next cruise!
