My family of 4 just returned from a wonderful stay on the Fascination. We left a day early to go to Miami so we could relax and travel leisurely to the port on our Embarkation day. We stayed at the Embassy Suites,we enjoyed the hotel,despite some negative reviews that we have seen lately. The staff was pleasant and the rooms clean. They are renovating so there is need for improvement, since the rooms are a little outdated. The pool area is great. We ate dinner at Flanigans which is a chain in southern Florida and a must go place for the ribs according to my youngest son.

Monday: We got to the port around 11:15 and we were on the ship by 12:00 it went very smoothly and the lines were fast. We went to our room dropped off our wine and carry on and made our way to the Lido deck for lunch, soda cards and the Fun ship drink of the day. Be careful some people believe these are free,, no they are you first experience the hawking of alcohol. This doesn't bother me but my husband hates it. The food was great on the Lido deck. I ate at the deli, one son from the buffet and husband and youngest had pizza, so we covered all the bases. We went back to our room to see if they had finished cleaning and to meet our room steward.

Room: The room renovation is great on this class ship it seems bigger and the beds were so comfortable. Sunny our steward was informative and extremely pleasant. Dining Room: We were fortunate to have two wonderful servers who always explained what foods were wonderful and what not to eat. The service and the food choices were always great. Bars and entertainment were great we really enjoyed the two bands, Detour and Azziz they had a great repertoire and kept the crowds hopping. We never made it to the piano bar or to disco.
