We traveled the North Sea & the Baltic from Amsterdam to St Petersburg & back. Celebrity changed the itinerary & substituted Klaipeda, Lithuania for Oslo. What a disappointment.Sunday we docked in Lithuania, and there was nothing to do. The entire population on the ship was angry. I believe that it is a permanent change to the itinerary.

The overall cruise experience was great. The cabin was lovely. We had great service in the Royal Suite. We enjoyed the food, especially the homemade ice-cream. The shows were okay, somewhat mediocre. The on-board activities were dull & lacked creativity, days at sea were only highlighted by BINGO.

I had two major criticisms, please consider them carefully in your cruising decisions: 1- They allowed smoking in the center of the ship surrounding the Cova Cafe. The smoke traveled up the circular staircase and penetrated all public rooms of the ship making it unbearable for non-smokers to use these public areas, including the nightclubs and the casino. 2- There was no major promenade area on the ship. Deck 6 was blocked in the front, thus making it impossible to walk around the ship. Deck 12 had it's walking area removed when they added extra balconies for the Sky Suites. They had a very small jogging deck which required 14 laps to equal one mile. The fitness center is great, but if you want to exercise outdoors, you can't.
