The Carnival Valor was my second cruise with Carnival. By far my favorite. The ports were amazing. We flew south west into Miami, an economical airline and spent a few days on the west coast of FL before our trip began. Leaving Miami we didn't have any trouble, the only noticeable difference was having to manually activate our sign and sail card. This seemed to take a long time to me, and I wish this would have been done for us. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our cabin was clean. We had a steward like a stealth ninja. We never saw this person. Another difference from previous cruises was having to pay for movies. My husband hated this, as there wasn't much else on tv.

Dining: Food was amazing as usual. I don't think there was anything I didn't like. The escargots were very good, as were the fish dishes. The buffet food was good as well, and enjoyed the sandwich bar. Our dining room server Joel from Honduras was nice and very entertaining. The crew would put on a show during dinner that showed us they truly enjoyed the job they have.

Speaking of shows...amazing! Make sure you see them! The hypnotist and breakdancers were very entertaining! I was disappointed at how much money the spa services were on this cruise. I had planned to have services done, but upon getting the prices decided to pass. This ship had nice shops. I liked being able to purchase loose stones to take home, also there was alot of very nice give aways on this cruise. I took home a very lovely painting that now hangs on my living room wall just for showing up to a talk.
