Hello: We sailed the Coral Princess's first season voyage to Alaska this year. I have planned this trip for a year. I loved some things about this trip and there are many things that will make it hard for me to book Princess lines again.

The embarking process was smooth out our Vancouver --- very quick but found it interesting that no one had a map to give up of the ship! This is odd other cruise lines will give you maps of the ship at the embarking process. Also we had to fill out a Norovirus survey and they did not have enough pens or pencils at the table....Why was this necessary at the beginning of the process holding up people in lines? Got inside the ship and found the elevator upstairs to our floor. Staff directed our way to our cabin rudely! When we came back to these same elevators we were told to go to the back and front and find elevators to take upstairs to the Horizon Court. When I asked how far back I was told by a English gal to keep walking either direction and I will find elevators. This should have been my tip off to get off the ship NOW. She also proceeded to inform us that we should have known these elevators that took us up to our floor are not to be used except by staff on embarking day.

Now, we finally get to the Horizon Court and the food was mediocre at best. Things were stale and across the board of unusual. Not sure why they think that some of there desserts being offered are any good. Would suggest they expand there salad bar offerings.
