Although we live in New England, and have visited Canada many times, this cruise offered two ports we hadn't been to, and a chance to revisit some favorite places. My husband is 61 and I'm 51, and we were among the youngest on this ship! This is our forth cruise, our second with Holland America.
We chose the maiden Canada/New England voyage of the Maasdam. This was a bit of a compromise for us because we took a Holland America Alaskan cruise two years ago and said then we'd never go on Holland America again. Well, we thought we would try again, the result being...we are now sure we'll never take Holland America again!
