Sail Date: May 2007

We set sail on the Triumph on May 5th and did the Eastern Caribbean. Flights from New York went well and embarkation at first seemed like it was going to be a long wait but luckily a new line opened up and we we ushered right through. Within a 1/2 hour we were aboard the ship and eating lunch. We opted to buy the soda cards and I think we got our moneys worth over the course of the week.

The ship is older but real clean and smaller than I thought it would be. The decor I thought in the atrium was very pretty. They had glass elevators that reminded me of the Willy Wonka elevator. After lunch we went to our rooms and they were ready for us. We had an inside room on the Panorama deck (deck 10). It was a decent size I thought. My parents had a balcony room down the hall. Not any bigger but they had the balcony. Luggage arrived between 2-3pm.

The highlights: Dining room experience - Food was almost always excellent and the service was wonderful. Our waiter and waitress were awesome and I really looked forward to seeing them every night! I can't spell their names correctly but it was Brejesh and Ratoulle I think. Brejesh was from India and he was very handsome and a bit smirky. He always had a cute joke too. (Loved him)They were both very attentive the whole week we in the dining room. Ratoulle even gave all of us a hug on our last evening.
